Cello Bio II

During the summer of 4th grade, I went to an instrumental day camp through the public school system. I don't remember a whole lot of it, but it was at an elementary school across town. It was set up like a beginning orchestra and we probably played simple band arrangments. I remember playing mostly (bass clef) baritone parts for much of my time in the elementary and junior high school orchestras. I think I sat first chair, but then maybe I was the only cello.

These pictures were taken that summer of 1974. We had an enclosed porch on the back of our house. I liked to practice out there during the summer. You can tell it is the 70s just by the color of the throw rug!
